ITS INDEPENDENCE TO BE MAINTAINED. [PBESS ASSOCIATION.] (Received July 21, 10 a.m.) London, 19th July. In the House of Commons Mr. Curzon, Parliamentary Secretary to the Foreign Office, said the Government would take care that the independence of Corea should he maintained, and would not allow that territory to he used for the purpose of giving any Power control in the Eastern Seas.
