ARRIVALS. January 6 — Penguin, ss, 517 tons, Manning', from Lyttelton S.S. IONIC. The following passengers were booked for the colony by the White Star liner lonic, which sailed for Plymouth on tho 28th November for Wellington via Teneriffe, Capetown, and Hobart : — For Wellington : Saloon— Misses Innes, M'Masters, Mrs Lowes, Messrs Davis, Johnston, Lowes; third class— MißSes Alender, Campbell, Davies, O'Callaghan, Mesdames Barbour (2), Campbell, Davies, Pittans, Holm, Messrs Alexander, Holm, Barbour (2), Sheaf, Pittans, Jarrold, Greigg, Masters Campbell, Pittans (8). For other ports : Saloon — Misses Brown (2), Cooinbe, Nation, Parsons, Preston, Roberts, Mesdames Brown, Green, Hanson, Hurst, Rodger, Messrs Brown, Hurst, Green, Hardwick, Dunkerley, Pattulo, Ross, Nee, Studholmc, Fenning (2), Wills; 41 steerage. There wore also on board 13 passengers for Teneriife, 150 for Capetown, and 5 for Australia. The Penguin, from Lyttelton, arrived at 3.20 this afternoon The barque Vigil is reported by Australian papers as having left Sharpness on 17th December with a cargo of salt for Wellington The steamer Indrapura, 35SQ tons gross, was recently sold at Liverpool for £29,000. Tho White Star ship California nas been disposed of to a Hamburg firm of shipowners for £17,000
