Bethune & Co., land and estate agents, report the sale by private contract of a large number of city and suburban landed properties, including the following : — Nairn-street — Freehold land, 64ft x 70ft, with eight-roomed dwellinghouse, sold for £570. Tinakori-road—Free-hold land, 21ft 6in x 108 ft, together with dwelling-house of six rooms, sold for £340. Buller-street— Freehold building allotment, 30ft x 139 ft, price not disclosed. Willisstreet—Freehold land, 30ft x 169 ft, together with shop and dwelling-house of nine rooms, price not disclosed. Banks-terrace — Freehold land, 30ft x 120 ft, together with dWelling-house of five rooms, sold for £350. Paikakariki — Freehold allotment, 24 perches, fronting public road, sold to Dr. Adams for £50 ; freehold allotment, 19 perches, to Dr. Adams for £40 ; freehold allotment, 21 perches, Dr. Adams, £40; freehold allotment, 14 perches; to Mr. E. W. Lowe, £40; freehold allotment, 14 perohes, Mr. E. W. Lowe, £40; freehold allotment fronting public road, 14 perches, Mr. E. W. Lowe, £50. Also several allotments in the township of Okiwi, near Day's Bay, at £12 10s each. Township of Maranui, Lyell's Bay — In block B, allotments containing 33 perches, 22 perches, 14 perches, and fronting Queen's Drive and Para Crescent, sold to Mr. F. de J. Clere for £125, bringing the total for sections sold in this township to upwards of £600. Messrs. Francis Sidey & Co., send us the result of their sale of building allotments, viz. : Owen-street, allotments 9 to 13, each 37ft x 122 ft, sold at £4 10s per foot; in Constable-street, allotment 1, 30ft x 108 ft, sold at £6 2s 6d per foot; and allotments Nos. 2 and 6, at £5 per foot. Nos. 3, 4, and 6 are for sale privately. The total amount realised for those sold was £1386 ss. Messrs. Sidey sold by auction on« Friday a leasehold property of half an acre of land, with four roomed cottage, on Russell-terrace, for £145, to Mr. M. Sheehy. The freehold property at Kilbirnie, over half an acre of ground, with six roomed dwellinghouse, was knocked down to Mr. G. A. Tattle for £340, and the Wadestown property was passed in, the bidding not reaching the reserve of £350.
