During the passage of the barque Dilpussund, which arrived from New York to-day, Carl Anderson, a stowaway from Pernambuco, was washed overboard. A lifebuoy was thrown and a watch kept and the ship hauled, but the unfortunate man never appeared. He seemed to sink at once.
