In their match against Surrey the Australian cricketers knocked ujr in their second innings the 64 runs which they required in order to exceed the champion county's total for the loss of three wickets. The scores were : — Iredale ... , . 4 Donnan, not out ... ... 35 Darling „ ... 7 Giffen ... ... , 4 Trott, not out ... 15 Richardson took two wickets for 18, and liockvrood one for 25. In the second innings of Surrey, Trott took one wicket for 66, M'Kibbin three for 49, Jones four for 13.
