THIRD-CLASS CHAMPIONSHIP. The soDros in the Karori v. Midland third matah at Karori were :— Midland, 40 and 33 for seven wioketa (Grant 10, Coster 10) ; Karori, 75 (Hiil 30, C. Daaent 21) For Karori, Spiers took seven wickets for 27, Lowe four for 17, Darmody fonr for 23. The Johnßonville and Wellington College heat was commenced on tho College ground. Johnsonville, 181 runs in the first innings ; College, 41, and 21 for four wickets. F. Moore 42, K. Retter 40, Jaa Moore 21, and A. Moore 18 not out, wore the beat batsmon for Johnsonville. Izard was top Bcorer for the College with 9. K. Rettor, H. Bowler, C. Rotter, and A. Piokin bowled well for Johnsonville, as did Glasgow, Gale, and Gray for the College.
