[bt tilxobaph— pbs6B aßsooiatioh. " Auckland, This Dat. During the four weeks ended on the 2lth inst. 2700 tons ore was treated by the Waihi Company for a yield of £9519 worth of bullion. Frost retarded the work of the percolation vats, oonseqnently a smaller qnantity of ore than usual was treated. The oompany has declared another dividend of 2s per share. The Woodstock United Company banked £885 worth of bullion, the return from 240 tons. Mr. Viotor M. Braund, stock and sharebroker, Lambton.quay, is now receiving ap. plicationsforsharesin the Mahakipawa Goldmining Company, the prospectus of which is advertised in another column. The returns from the adjoining mines have greatly increased of late, more than £1200 of gold having been picked up in 24 hours from one mine alone. Mining investors are invited to apply early for shares so' as to 'secure an allotment. Only 5000 are allotted to' Wellington. In our advertising columns appears the prospectus of the Wakamarina Flat Alluvial Gold Mining Company (Limited). ■ Ihe promoters ask for nothing for their interest in tbe property. They subscribe for shares and pay_ for them. This, with 8200 shares sub-I aoribed, should be a guarantee for their faith in the venture. It is well known that the Wakamarina is very rioh in mmorals. Amongst the travellers' samples that C.
