Two prospeotors, names unknown, were camped near Mount Margaret, when four mounted men suddenly rode into the camp and Bhot both dead ; then, turning upon a group of bUoks close by, Bhot down a large number in oold blood. The occurrence is reported by a blaok boy emplojed at the Success mine, Kurnalpie. He states tbat he was in the camp at the time the murders were committed, but managed to get away. He thinks there are no other survivors. The police are making up a strong party to proceed to the locality.
