A NEW PLOUGH. We have pleasure in advising yon that we have been appointed Agents for the COCKSHUT1 1 PLOUGH CO. (Limitid). Dear Sir— We have pleasure in confirming telegram sent you on Saturday reporting the great success of the "Dux" (or Punch) Plough in gaining the first and second prizes at the largest competition ever held in Sootland, viz , that under the auspices of the Dumfriesshire and Kirkcudbrightshire Ploughing Association on Saturday, the 16th March, 1895, at Eigghead Farm, Backs, near Dumfries. Your plough beat ploughs by all the leading makers, inoluding Bansome, Sims ft Jefferies (Ipswiob), J. ft T. Howard (Bedford), E. ft H. Bobetts (Stoney Stratford), the " Oliver," and others. Bansome took third prize. We have received considerable orders by this morning's post, and are just about oleared out of the 1160 ploughs received from you, and we anxiously await the arrival of the 150 ordered on the 27th ulto.
