A meeting of the Junior Cricket Association took pluoe in the Baptist Cburoh ■Souoolroom, Vivian-atreet, last night, Mr. ft Howe presiding. Mr. Darmody, Captain of the Thorndon Club (whioh furnished the ih&mpion team of the Association last -eaaon), was presented by Mr. Wilson with two handsome bats, the Rift of Mr. A. Hoby, who had further annotraoed his intension of presenting another trophy_ for oom•jetition next season. On the motion of Mr. ijodber, seconded by Mr. Darmody, a hearty soteof thanks was given to Mr. Hoby for his generosity. The Hon. Secretary was lireoted to enquire as to grounds for next reason. ______________
