M. Jaoobsky, Sooretary to Baron Alphonse Rothschild, who was seriously injured by the explosion of a letter addressed to his principal and charged with an explosive mixture, states that he thought tho packet contained race tickets, otherwise he would have forwarded it to the Baron. (Received August 27, 10.45 a.m.) Pabib, 26th August. The police are convinced that the Anar-, ohiuts planned the outrage against Baron Alphonse Rothsohild. Thirty persons were arreßted on suspicion of being oonoerned in the affair, and eaoh Was compelled to submit a specimen of his handwriting with a view to comparing it with the address on the envelope. The examination, however, proved favourable to the prisoners, and they were all released. M. Jaoobsky is improving. [Special.— Received August 27) 10.50 a.m.J Paris, 26th August. The doctors find that it will not be necessary to remove M. Jaoobsky'a eye.
