The French offioers who have returned frcm the Madagascar oampaign report that 500') invalid Soldiers are at the sanatorium or havo been sent home, tho transports taking dying men in order to relieve the hospitals. One regiment has been almost entirely ' lost. The aioknesa is increasing.
