The Workers' Political Committee has entered its most emphatio protest against the Government entertaining any proposals or initiating legislation whereby national oredit will be further used in bolstering up private finanoial institutions, and farther protesting against any scheme being adopted having for its objeot the amalgamation of other private finanoial institutions with the Bank of New Zealand. Eight masons are given, the oonoluding one Deing that the present system has outgrown its usefulness, and the immediate establishment of a State Bank is an absolute necessity for the proteotion and (well-being of the oommunity.
