Her displacement is 14,900 1 tops, her engines are of 12,000 horse-power i. indicated, she is to be armed on the heaviest >• BOalo, and is to steam 174 knots an honr, carrying ooal enough for a, voyage of G3OO " knots at 10-knot speed. Other vessels of her '> olasß Hare cost over ] PabiB, 22nd August. An attempt to launch the ironclad Pothnau at Havre failed, the vessel stioking on the l f . ways. f I'ho French warship Pothuau is a steel „ armonred turret Bhip of 5315 tons, with engines of 10,000 horae-power, costing £384,000.] _J !___
