• Evihiho Post Office, Friday Afternoon AaiuTUM and Williams, Palmerston North, report ol their stock market.— Business during the week has had a brighter tone. Store wethers, fat sheep, and sound hoggets adrancedin price. Bullocks and steers commanded better attention, and sold freely. At Awaburi on Tuesday a moderate number of cattle came forward, bnt % small one of sheep. All lots were cleared. At Palroeraton on Thursday there was a good entry, moat of the stock bein^ of a useful character. The bulk of the cattle weresteera and bullocks, S and 5 years old. Fat cows sold freely, and other" sort* were diioosed of more readily than of late. Awahuri— Fat cows, £4 to £4 11s :* forward do, £3 . 8s ; store cows. £3 18s : spriutane uciferi, £S 12s ; empty do, £3 ; fat ewe wethers, 9s 103 ; forward do, 9s ; wether hoggets, 7s sii ; woollr do, 7s 4d.
