At a publio mooting of oitizens to-night,-the Mayor presiding, resolutions were carried for tbe ereotion of a marble statue of Sir George Grey in Auckland. A strong oommittee was appointed to carry out this objeot. The resolutions were seconded by member! of the Women's Liberal League.
