THE CYANIDE PATENTS.
* AN AMENDMENT PERMITTED. I'PSBSS ASSOCIATION.] (Reoeived August 23, 10.50 a.m.) Adelaide, Teas Day. The resident direotor of the Australian Gold Recovery Company has reoeived a oable message from London stating that the Patent' Office has allowed an amendment of the M' Arthur-Forrest's oyanide patents so as to bring them within a favourable inter, pretation of the reoent judgment of the English Courts. [It is stated here that the amendment only applies to the English specification, the New Zealand specification being different from tbe English. The amendment being only one by the Patent Office, it may be questioned in any future proceedings founded upon the amended specification iv the English Law Courts.]
