Anthrax in the Waikato.
|BT TRIiSQRAFH. — PRSBS ASSOCIATION.! Auckland, 20th August. Mr. Gilrnth, veterinary Burgeon, has deoided that the disease whioh has broken out amongst Mr. Kuaab'a cattle at Ohsnpo is anthrax. The disease has probably been brought over from Australia in bone manure. Some more o&ttle died yesterday. Theoutbreak at Ohaupois ottraotingattention in the House. Mr.Massoywantstoknow what is being done to stamp it oat, and Captain Bussell urjfoa that in view of the everinoreasing number of diseases, among Bheep and cattle and the present outbreak, in au future appointments Chief Inspectors of Stock be qualified Teterinary surgeons.
