Svxiraa Post Offlo«. - Wednesday Aftaißooa F. H. Wood reports as follows of the stock tmli> held by him at the Taratahi yards yuterday : notwithstanding the bad weather, there waa a urge attendance, buyers coming from Wellington Hutt, and Kiitoke, as well as from all parts of tbe Woirarapa. Several entries did not, however, come forward, owing to the rough weather. There waa a good demand for dairy stock and an improrement in prices. Sheep rated at about last aale rates. Puce* are qaoted as under .—SheepFat wethers, lla 6d to 12s 9d; ewes in lamb. 6s to 9« 6d ; targets (poor culls), U M to 4s.
