fPBEBB ASSOCIATION. | London, 16th August. The European shareholders in the Londonderry Mine receive Exploration Company shares pro rata. The English vendors reaeive deferred shares, not ranking for dividends until the profit mode equals 100 per cent. Colonel North vigorously attacked Lord Fingall for sending his telegram from Coolgardie as to the Holiness of the property, and for insisting on its publication. Lord Fingall explained tbat he meant his telegram to refer only to the golden hole, not the mine as a whole. He declared that morality compelled the publication of the telegram. Reefton, 17th August. The following returns are announced :— Bullor Dredge, 270z 13dwt gold, 5} days; Cookspurrow Dredge, 12oz 18dwt amalgam, 49 honrs; Keep-it-Dark, 133 ;z amalgam, 109 tons; Progress, 2420z amalgam, 25S tons. An offer for purchase has been made by the representative of a Londdn syndicate to the direotors of the Big River Gold Mining Company, the termß to be .£25,000 cash and a quarter interest in the new company; .£SOOO working oapital to be lodged to the oredit of the oompany; a deposit of jEIOOO to be forfeited if the purchase is not completed within three months from the time the documents reach London.
