News comes from Noumea an to the discovery of a quantity of wreckage, consisting of the npper part of a oabin and poop and a deckhouse, whioh drifted ashore at Vao. The deokbonse was 26ft long by lCft wide, and made oE pine. Among tbe wreokage were fonnd the letters " Ciro," also " Cum " and " Aroum," enclosed in a dark- yellow stripe with a roße-tinted background. On the 6th AugUßt part of the bows of a vessel, 23ft long, oame ashore from the eastward. Tun ooaster La Moutte has been wrecked on the New Caledonian ooiet, and three lives were lost.
