A miner named Bowring took a young ) woman named Randall— to whom he was engaged to be married in Ootober — for a drive. They alighted at a retired place, and be shot her through tho head with a I revolver, and then blew his own brains out. Both are dead. 1 Bowring had been speculating and betting i heavily lately, and bod lost all his savings.
