Alfred Hollis, settler, 56 years of age, left " Havelook for his home last night, leading a somewhat fractions draught horse. Shortly afterwards he was found lying insensible on the road close to Captain BusboU's residenoe, and he died before he conld be conveyed there. It was supposed to bo an accident, but examination failed to reveal any injury, and death is supposed to be due to heart disease, from which Hollis suffered. Dunbdin, 13th August. Beatrice Hurley, a child of three years, received into the Hospital on the 22nd of last month suffering from scalds caused by a pot of boiling water, died to-day.
