BRITISH PROTEST AGAINST FRENCH AGGRESSION. [Special.— Received Angnst 13, 10.30 a.m.] London, 12th August. • Great Britain has protested against the oeeßion by China of a portion of Kinhnng, whioh extends the French territory in Further India to the Mekong, and praotioally abolishes the buffer State intended to prevent the two European Powers ooming into contact.
