An eight-story building being erected in Wosfc Broadway collapsed, and 80 workmen engaged upon it fell to the basement, IS of them being killed. Tho cau-*o of the accident was tho pilmg-up of materials near the lift on each floor. Seventeen men from the ship Prince Osoar havo been lauded at Philadelphia. Their ship came into collision with an unknown vessel, and both Bank. Forty in all were drownod.
