Eveniko Post Office, Fridar Afternoon AmtiTTtw aki> Wuxuus, Falmerston Korth, report of their stock market:— "We have only our Falmerston sale of Ihnrsday to report udod. The entrj* of cattle was confined to springers and milkers. For the»e the demand was slow, thongh a clearance was made, hut in buyers' favour. Sheep came forward in average numbers, the greater portion of the entry being hoggets. Bidding under the hammer lnoked spirit, the salei effected hoiog made privately. Some loti went oat untold. An improved demand set in for good breeding ewes and fat sheep, which were readily quitted under the hammer. Cattle — Springing heifers. £2 19s to £3 7s 6d ; milch cows, £i 12s 6d to Ho 10s. Sheep— Hoggets, 5s 4d to 0s 3d ; culls, 33 4d ; fat ewes nnd wether*, 9s 3d to 10a ; fat ewes, 8s to 81 2 d; forward wethers, 8» to 9s ; cull ewes. Is lOd ; choice breeding ewes, 10s.
