Despised led over the first fence and paßt tho stand, with Boscins next, and Liberator, Austral, Mutiny, Norton, and Booties following in the order named, and Chrystal last. At the kennels, Außtral refused, and Liberator and Bosoius ran up to tho leader, but Despised was again in front at the top turn. As they Bwept past the stand Mntiny and Roscius dosed on the leader. At tho next fence past Cult* 1 Despised fell, and Mntiny taking onmmand ran down the baok stretch well clear of Rosoins, with Norton next, and I Liberator, who had etrnok the fenoe hard, half a dozen lengths away. Mutiny continued to show the way paßt the kennels, whore Booties refnsed, and Liberator moved up again. At the top turn Mutiny was atill well in front of the others, of whom Norton was now second. Once in the straight Norton and Liberator were both beaten, and Mutiny went on and won py five lengths from Boscius, with Norton, who pulled up, twenty lengths away, third, just in front of Liberator, while Chryßtal was the only other horse to finish.
