[SPECIAL.] London, 4th August.
The Constantinople correspondent cf the Pall Hall Gazette stated that it is currently reported there that tho Khedive has presented the Sultan with half a million sterling, in order to enlist the sympathy of Turkey in the Egyptian question. Sir Frederick Napier Broome is mentioned as likely to aucoeed Sir Henry Norman as Governor of Queensland.
