THIS DEAN MURDER CASE.
LEAVjE TO APPEAL EEFUSED. When the Court of Appeal resumed thia morning, the Chief Justico said that the Court thought it unnecessary to call upon tho Crown to reply to the argument of Dr. Findlay, on behalf of Minnie Dean, in support of tho application for leavo to appeal. They had had tho benoSt of hearing all Dr. Fradlay could have said if leave to appeal had been aotually granted. The Court was unanimously of opinion that leavo to appeal should bs refused, and would give reasons in writing on Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. Now that the Court of Appeal baa refused tho application for leave" to appeal, the matter resolves itself into a question of tho Executive decision as to tho life or death of Mrs. Dean. A special moetiuif of tho Executive will be convened immediately to deoide whether the death sentence shall be oommuted or carried out.
