Mr. Augustus Klein, managFr of the Sydney Omnibus Company, after drawing JEIBO from a bank to pay the salaries of the Company's employe's, was met in Bridgestreet on the way to his office by a young man who was walking in the opposite direction. Before Mr. Klein oonld dicine his intention the man snatohed the blaok hag containing the money from his hand.and disappeared down an adjoimn* lane. Klein was not as fleet of foot as the thief, and consequently lost sight of him, and the man got clean a<vay with the booty.
