Mr. William Lowes has been re-elected B Chairman of the Masterton Town Lands Trustees. The Trustees hare appointed a committee to meet a committee of inhabitants to diaoDss and report on the question of teohnical education. Notice has been given by a member of the Town Lands Trust to move at the next meeting that Mr. Hogg, M.H.R., be asked to present a Bill to the Home to empower the Trust to raise £2500 by debentures F bearing interest not exceeding 6 per cent., for the erection of a Town Hall. The annual meeting of ihe Masterton - Licensing Benoh was held, yesterday, when I the whole of the applications for licenses J were granted. Eleven o'olook licenses were ol withdrawn from the Pahiatua and Eke- gi tahuna hotels. , * ' ?-\ A Sswtows North, This Day. E The Railway Station was burglariously tl entered laat night. A window was prixed J open with a jemmy, and parools containing U medicine and toys were opened, but only a Z small bag is m.asing. The safe was not di touched. jj
