ORTON' S CONFESSION.

In his confession as published in The People, Arthur Orton tells of a meeting he . had in Paris with Chitilion, Sir Roger Tioh- ' borne's tutor, who declined to believe in hit identity. Orton showed him a scar ho had similar to a scar known to be on Sir Rogei ; Tichborne's body, 'and prodnood other proofs ' of recognition ; but still the tutor refused tc 1 believe his story. He admits that the sole basic for the deception consisted of his talks with ' Bogle, Slade, and others in Sydney and Wagga, whioh enabled him to meet the 1 questions put by the family.
