♦ [By Telegraph.— Press Association.! Napier, This Dat. At a orowded Temperance meeting in the Theatre Royal last night, a resolution wis unanimously passed calling the attention of the Minister of Justice to the fact that there are Justices of the Peace who run totalisators, and pointing out that suoh appointments are inconsistent with the position, and asking that in the future due regard be paid to the business of appointees.
