THE WINTON HORROR.
[By Tilxqhaph.— Pbcbb Association.] Dunidin, This Day. Minnie Dean was oharged at Milton thii morning with having murdered the infant Eva Hornsby. The police explained that they expeoted to find the obild's body at Clarendon, but it had been discovered in the accused's garden at Winton. Therefore the case would be taken to Invercargill, Mr. Hanlon, for defence, offering no objection. Accused was remanded to appear at Invercargill on Thursday next. Invircabqill.Thib Day. Charles Dean was charged this morning with the murder of two infants, and remanded, on the application of the police, till the 23rd May.
