9 Mrs. FitzGerald presided at the annual meeting of the Ladies' Christian Association yesterday afternoon, when the balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £89 15s 3d. Powlea (Secretary and Treasurer); President, Mrs. FitiGerald; Vice •P, esident, Mrs. Menzies; Committee, Mesdames D, Anderson, jun., Phillips, Habens. Annie Anderson, W. R. William*. Tripe, W. W. Know]oß,H»rtmann, Armstrong, Kirkcaldie, Hall, Ross, Mrs. Waters (lifo member of the committee), and the wives of the ministers of religion in tbe oity; Hon. Treasurer, Mrs Kenny; Hon. Secretary,Mra.Duncan. The report and balance-sheet of tho Alexandra Home, showing- a credit balance of £104, were also adopted, and the following officers re-elected:—President, Mrs. Habenß; Hon Seoretary, Miss K. Greenwood; Hon. Treasurer, Mrs Vennell; Committee, Mesdames FitzGerald, Asbcroft, Kwart, Henry, C. Izatd, Morrah, M'Kenzio, J. C.
