In the Legislative Assembly the Premier said that owing to the action of the House it was impossible to proceed with the Local Government Bill. Members would be given an opportunity to reconsider the Bill, but if they persisted in the course already taken, owing to the change in the basis of his calculations and the consequent rearrangement of plans it would be impossible to deliver the Financial Statement on the date already fixed. Mr. o'Sullivn.n gave notice to introduce a Bill to empower members of one House to attend the other for the purpose of explaining Bil 8 introduced by them. The two Houcos are now e-inferring on the dispnted clauses in the Land Bill. - Latest. (Received April 26, 11 a.m.) Stdnit, This Dat.
