THE QTJEKNSLAND LOAN SUBSCEIBED FIVK-FOLD. liJNITID PBEBB ASSOCIATION. I (Keoeived April 26,10.30 a.m.) London, 2Ath April. Tenders for the Queensland 3^ per oent. loan of £1,250,000, for which the minimum was fixed at 97£, were opened to-day. The amount tendered was -8U,533,G00, at an average of £10112s Gd, and tenderers at that ptioe will b<) allotted 28 per oent. One syndicate offered nearly £4,000,000 at that price. The London and Australasian Debenture Corporation (Limited), has resolved to reduoo its capital to £i per share, with £2 paid up.
