Mr. Paterson briefly addressed the gathering on the value of exercise, and thanked Mrs. Bell for presenting the prizes. Mr. J. G. Dawson moved a vote of thanks to the donors of prizes, the jndges, the ladies of Thorndon House for presenting the banner, and Mr. A. S. Pateraon, and the motion was carried by acclamation.
