ONE-MAN-ONE-VOTE IN BOEOUGHS. tUNITJCn PRK3S ASSOCIATION.: (Received April 25, 11.20 a.m.) Sydney. This Dat. The Government suffered defeat early this morning in Committco on the Local Government Bill. An amendment securing tho one-man-one-vote principle in municipal elections waa carried against tho wish of tho Government by 31 votes to 25. Tho Government is considering what effect the amendment will have on the Bill.
