A nnmber of leading members of the House of Commons are consulting with Mr. Ward, Colonial Treasurer of New Zealand, as to the working of the local option olansos in the Alooholic Liquors Sale Control Act and of the Compulsory Arbitration Aot in New Zealand, with a view to similar measures being introduced hero.
