WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL. BY-LAW. NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special I Mcetinir of the Council bold 011 Monday, the 25th day of March, 1805, the following Resolution was passed by way of Spooial Order :— . The Council of tho City of Wellington hereby reßolveß (by way of Special Order) that the following provisions bo, and the same hereby are, adopted under " The Munioipal Corporations Act, 1886," and the various Aots amending the same, and in pur su anco of every or any other power enabling it in that behalf, as a Bylaw to amend "The Publio Buildings By-law, 180t," and that the said By-law do come into foroe on tho 6th day of May, 1895, viz. :— That Clause 9 of " The Publio Buildings By-law, 1894," be amended as follows : — Btrike out " tho Mayor and Town Clerk " and any two Councillors, and add the following words in lien thereof: — " A standing Committee to be set np by " the Counoil, to be known as ' The " Public Buildings Committee,' and " to consist of the Mayor and three " Councillors to be from time to " time appointed by the Connoil, " whioh Committee shall have power " to aot in the matter aforesaid." And notice is hereby also given that the aforesaid resolution will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Counoil to be held on Thursday, tho 25th day of April, 1895, at 7.30 p.m., at the Counoil Chamber, Brandon-Btreet, Wellington.
