A SERIOUS FIRE. IBy Telegraph. J (Our Own Correspondent. J Mastebton, This Dat. The stables and shed on the Mongaoi road, belonging to Mr. Stephen Hardin) were totally destroyed by fire yesterda morning, together with tho entire how Prince Charlie, two waggons, and a co; Biderable quantity of horee feed. The origi of the fire is a mystery. Two men sleepin in the stable had a narrow escape. A shed belonging to Mr. Trask on Uppc Plain has been destroyed by firo. Mr. C. Hughes, who is lowing the dii triot, has rosigned his office as a member c tho Borough Council.
