The Cologne Gazotto states that Germany, Rnssia, and France have addressed energetic protests to Japan against the terms of peace, couched in identical language. Pabis, 23rd April. The French press bo trays anxiety lest England should hold aloof from the concerted action taken by o'her European Powers in regard to the pcaco treaty. St. Pitbbsbubq. 23rd April. Tho Novoe Vreyma states that in return for Germany and France supporting tho opposition of Russia to tho cession of the Linotong Peninsula and Japanese preponderance in Corea, Russia has undertaken to support all the commercial demands of Germany in the East, and also to assist any action France may take in Indo-China. Tokio, 23rd April. The Mikado's proclamation states that the result of the war forbids tho heaping of insults on tho Chinese. GREAT BRITAIN CONSIDERING THE POSITION. I SPECIAL. A meeting of the Cabinet takes place to-day to deoide whether Groat Britain will unite in the European protest against the peace conditions demanded by Japan.
