« f'<NlTß"' PUSS- AOSO.M s.TION.I (Reoeivod Aoril 4, 10 30 a.m.) London, 3rd April. Immense orowds attend tbe trial of the Marquis of Queensbery on the oharge of libelling Oaoar Wilde. The evideuoe adduced to-day showed that Wilde paid heavy blackmail to recuver his gushing letters to Lord Alfred Douglas (the Marquis's son), which were found in the pockets of old clothes tb&t had been given away. The defence ia based on the revelations contained in these letters.
