HOUSE OP REPRESENTATIVES. In reply to Dr. Newman's question as to the extension of Te Aro Railway to Newtown, tbe Premier said that aB those members who had opposed the completion of Te Aro Station had been returned by Wellington at the last election, tho Government look this as an endorsement of their opposition, and did not sco its way to take further steps. Money spent in completing 1 tho gap between Kketahuna and Woodvillo would be money bettur spent in tho intercuts of Wellington and the colony.
