Mr. Keldwick recommending tlio Standing Ordors Committeo to bring tho Standing Orders in rospect to Local Bills into harmony with those recently adopted by tho House of Eepresontatives, ■was agreed to. The Oooan Beach Domain Act Amendment Bill passed its final stages. Tho Timara Harbour District Eating Bill was further considered in committee, and progroas was reported to enable tho Local Bills Committeo to consider a proposed new clause. Tho Invorcargill .Racecourse Trustees Empowering Bill passed throngh Committee with certain amendments. The following Bills were read the second time : — Kketahnna Cemetery Reserve Bill, Inangahna County Council Empowering Bill, Mount St. John Eeserve Bill, Hamilton Domain Empowering Bill, Greymouth Harhonr Board Empowering Bill, Dunudin Loan Conversion Bill, Kaitangata Keliof Fund Transfer Amendment Bill, Auckland Harbour Board Empowering Bill, and Wellington Reclaimed Land Act Amendment Bill. Tnr. gaminci bill. i It was deoidod to insist on the Council's amendments 'in this Bill, and the HonMoasrs. M'Lean, Ormond, mid MacOrcgor wcro appointed to draw up reasons.
