Sir James Whitehead, Bart., and Mr. J. A. Fioton, Liberal members for Leicester, who were returned at the general election unopposed, lately resigned their coats, owing to ill-health. The vacancies have been filled by the election of Messrs. Broadhurat and Hazel, both Liberals, who defeated Conservative and Labour candidates'.
