THE VOLUNTEERS.
The Wellington Navals mustered 57 lart night for the monthly inspection by Lieut.Col. Newal], and after the inspection wer» exercised in the new musketry drill bjr Sergt.-Major Finn, Lieut.-Col. Newall addressed the company, complimenting it ozu its smart and clean appearance, but said he hoped to see an increase in numbers at inspection parades. After parade the new Shooting Committee was elected as follows : — C.P.O. Woodger, P.O. Armstrong, P.O. Babe, P.O. Carmiohael, Seamen France, Roger, and Broomhall. One new member was elected. The Shooting Committee has selected the following members to represent the Company in the Morris tube match with the Guards to-night :— C.P.O. Woodger, P.O. Harris, P.O. Williams, P.O. Armstrong, P.O. Babe, P.O. Gell, Seamen C. W. Martin, France, Muir, Bulford, Fredric, Boger, Murray, Holden. The match commences at 730 at the Drillshed— in mufti ; rifles and ammunition supplied.
