THE VOLUNTEERS.
A parade of the D Battery was held last evening. There waß a master of 45, under Capt. flloorbouße and Lieute. Pearce and Warren. Tbe men were put through musketry drill by Sergt.-Major Finn, through the short-;-v-ord oxeroiso by Capt. Moorhouse, and through the long-sword exercise by Sergt.-Maior Bobinson. Two persons were eleoted members and two were proposed. The second match of the Morris tube shooting tournament is to be fired by the Navahj and Guards to-morrow night. The winning team will on Saturday night fire the D Battery, which defeated the City Rifles last week by 3 points. A match is to come off next week between tbe junior shots of the D Battery and the City Kifles.
