The Government has offered a reward of .£IOO in connection with the burning of the river steamer Rodney by Unionist shearers. Brisbane, 28th August. The Government has offered a reward of .£IOOO for the conviction of those conneoted with the burning of the woolsheda ; and has also issued very severe instructions to the police to resist to the utmost any attempt at the rescue of prisoners, and fire with effect on the leaders and not over their heads.
